Refund policy

Thanks for shopping with Park Sydney. We want you to love what you ordered, but if
something isn’t right we’ve got you covered. This policy explains how returns and

refunds work for purchases you make from parksydney.com (and related Park Sydney
channels).

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you’re entitled to a remedy if a product is
faulty, unsafe, not as described, or doesn’t do what we said it would do. These rights
are automatic and can’t be excluded by any store policy.


If something you bought has a major problem, you can choose whether you’d prefer a
refund, replacement or repair. For minor problems, we may choose to repair or replace
the item.

2. Change of Mind Returns


Sometimes you just change your mind — and that’s okay. If you want to return
something because it didn’t fit or you changed your mind, we offer returns within 14
days of delivery from when you received the item.

To qualify for a change of mind return:

  • The item must be unused and in original condition with all tags and packaging
    intact.
  • You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

We may choose to offer an exchange, refund to the original payment method, or store credit, but this is at our discretion for change of mind cases.

3. How to Start a Return

To begin a return, email our team at team@parkmarketplace.au with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you want to return
  • Whether you’re seeking a refund, exchange or store credit
  • The reason for your return

We’ll respond within 2 business days with next steps. Pack your items securely and
return them using a tracked delivery service.


4. Faulty, Damaged, or Not as Described

If your item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described:

  • Contact us within reasonable time of discovering the issue.
  • Include photos and a brief description of the problem.

For faulty items, we’ll cover the cost of return postage if the fault is confirmed. We may
ask you to ship the item back so we can inspect it, and we’ll refund your reasonable
return costs once the fault is verified.


5. Refunds


Refunds for approved returns will be processed to your original payment method within
7–14 business days after we receive the returned item (for change of mind) or after we
confirm a fault.
Please note that credit/debit card refunds can take a few extra days to show on your
statement.


6. Exceptions & Notes

  • Personalised or bespoke items: These may not be eligible for change of mind
    returns unless they are faulty.
  • Sale items: We’ll accept returns or exchanges on sale items (subject to the
    conditions above), but consumer guarantee rights still apply regardless of
    whether the item was discounted.
  • Shipping costs: For change of mind returns, you’re responsible for return
    postage. For confirmed faulty returns, we’ll reimburse reasonable shipping costs.
